The Estonian Song and Dance Festival is one of the largest choral gatherings in the world, bringing together tens of thousands of singers and dancers every five years in Tallinn. Rooted in the 19th century, it has long stood as a symbol of Estonian identity and unity, playing a quiet but powerful role in the country's path to independence. I had the opportunity to photograph this event as a photographer, capturing the atmosphere from the crowds gathered on the festival grounds to the performers on stage.
Eesti laulu- ja tantsupidu on üks maailma suurimaid koorilaulukogunemisi, tuues iga viie aasta tagant Tallinnasse kokku kümneid tuhandeid lauljaid ja tantsijaid. Juured ulatuvad 19. sajandisse ning see on pikka aega olnud Eesti identiteedi ja ühtekuuluvuse sümbol, mängides vaikset, kuid mõjukat rolli riigi teel iseseisvuseni. Mul oli võimalus seda sündmust fotograafina jäädvustada, tabades meeleolu nii peoplatsile kogunenud rahva kui ka laval esinejate seas.
