UN-SELF-ISH

UN-SELF-ISH is a visual exploration of identity - a look at how the sense of self shifts depending on where we are and who's watching. The project sits in the tension between the self we present, the self we keep hidden, and whatever exists quietly in between. The title plays on the idea of being self-centered, but instead of vanity, it's really about questioning where self-perception begins and ends. Who am I depending on the room I'm in? Does the space around me shape who I become? And where does expressing yourself stop being honest and start becoming construction?
